This is the art project we, the Liturgical Arts Committee at my church, came up with for Easter. It's cut out paper. So simple, if time consuming, and it turned out so beautifully. It really works well in the soaring space of our nave. Each piece is about 30 feet long. I couldn't help with the cutting part, but I did draw out the initial spiral design in the center. For the Great Vigil the night before Easter, my husband wrote and performed this presentation on the Flood. It was very powerful. He's quite the writer!

It is indeed spring, finally. Yesterday was the first day I haven't needed the heater at all, and I can get by with a light jacket or sweater when I go outside. The leaves are returning to the bare branches, and birds are everywhere. We even have a few bluejays that visit us every day, which keeps the cats entertained.
