Such beautiful shades of blue. Thanks for showing the details -- the scratchiness and texture is wonderful.

I really like this, it's similar to 'Far Shore', a theme seems to be emerging. Do you ever look back several years from the time you painted something and see so much more of what it was in your life at that time that influenced you to create a piece? I imagine as an abstract painter that would be an especially interesting process.

Thank you all!

gws - That's a really interesting idea. Looking back I only get that sense from a scant handful of paintings. But I've only been painting abstractly for about 5 years, and it's only recently that I've really consciously felt that I'm letting my immediate circumstances and surroundings influence my work. So I'm sure looking back at my current work in a few years time will prove to be very interesting indeed.

This is beautiful Angela. I can't remember, do you have cards of any of your paintings?

Tara - I don't have any cards of my paintings - yet. And I'm currently out of any prints. But I will be having more made, and hopefully cards too, sometime in the near future.

Mary - Thank you!
